The following information is intended as a guide for stretching your own piercings as well as letting you know how we would go about it if you came into the studio for a stretch. We do not charge for stretching piercings however you will obviously have to buy a new larger gauge piece of jewellery. The cost of this will vary according to the size and style of jewellery you pick. You may decide to opt for less expensive styles until you reach the desired size. We stock many sizes of rings, bars, tubes, tunnels and plugs and can order others that you may require if you are embarking on a major stretching campaign. The secret with stretching is to be patient and give your body time to recover in between stretches. Jumping sizes is usually false economy as you will often damage the piercing and will consequently have to wait longer before you can stretch it again. Sometimes you may even have to go back down a size to allow for recovery before proceeding. It is not always possible to stretch a piercing in a sensible amount of time at the studio in which case we will give you advice on how to best achieve the stretch at home. We stock insertion pins, tapers, weights and stretching crescents which can be useful for DIY stretching. There are lots of ways to increase the size of your piercings, the first method detailed below is the one we use in the studio but other methods may work better for you. Method One - Using An Insertion Pin
