Does It Hurt?

This depends on the location of the tattoo as the skin is more sensitive in some areas than others. However in general it is safe to say that most people are pleasantly surprised at how little it does hurt. Once you relax and settle down you hardly even notice it is going on. If you are really tense though it will hurt more so relaxing and not being nervous is definitely a good idea.

Also, what you do before a tat is going to have an effect; no blood-thinning substances (alcohol, drugs, certain painkillers) for 24 hours, a good nights sleep and food about an hour before are recommended. Make it easier for yourself!
