lClean twice daily with salt water or in the bath or shower to remove any crusty deposits. The piercing will be cleaned internally every time you urinate. Drinking plenty of water will help dilute your urine so it doesn't sting too much and will make sure you pee frequently hence washing it more often. A neat trick is to use a small jug of clean, lukewarm water at pee-time! Submerging your sore part(!), allowing the overspill into the loo. No sting!

lAll sexual activity should be avoided for two weeks. A condom should be worn for the following month in the case of piercings on or through the shaft of the penis. Care should be taken not to contaminate other piercings (eg scrotal) with alien bodily fluids(!), or to catch them or knock them too much while they are healing.

For subsequent stretching, please allow the piercing to heal for 3 months.
