The needle receiving tube is very smooth surgical steel with
a flared end which sits against my palm. Here you can see it being inserted down the
urethra as far as the piercing. This tube provides a secure exit for the needle from the
urethra without the risk of extra scrapes. It also provides a bit of resistance for the
needle to push against.
