Here is a picture of
an ampallang piercing which is about two weeks old. You can see where there is still a
small amount of discharge being produced. This was his second ampallang after he had to
remove the first one (done in America) a while ago and had missed it ever since. This is
not the first time people have said this. Apparently once you have this piercing you will
not want to lose it! Other customers have also returned to have lost or removed ampallangs
replaced. It seems the pain must be worth it. You can also see the 5mm smooth segment ring
